Account information: When you register, we collect your email address and name.
Trading platform credentials: When you connect a trading account, we store your username and encrypted credentials (AES-256). We never store passwords in plain text.
Trading data: We access balance, P&L, drawdown, and trade history from your connected trading platforms for display purposes.
Usage data: We collect information about how you use the Platform, including features used, pages visited, and actions taken.
Community content: Posts, comments, and other content you share publicly on the Platform.
We use your information to: (a) provide and improve the Platform; (b) sync your trading account data and display it in your dashboard; (c) send you notifications you have opted into; (d) power AI coaching features using anonymized data; (e) maintain community safety and prevent abuse; (f) comply with legal obligations.
Your trading platform credentials are encrypted using AES-256 encryption before storage. Encryption keys are stored separately from credential data. We access your trading data solely to display it in your Veltrix dashboard. We do not share your credentials with any third party and do not use them for any purpose other than syncing your account data.
We do not sell your personal data. We do not share your data with advertisers. We may share data with: (a) service providers who help us operate the Platform (Supabase for database, Vercel for hosting, Anthropic for AI features); (b) law enforcement when required by law; (c) successors in the event of a merger or acquisition.
Content you post publicly in the Veltrix community (trade recaps, journal entries, comments) is visible to other users. Your verified trading statistics may appear on leaderboards. You can control your privacy settings from your profile.
When you use AI features, your prompts and account data summaries are sent to Anthropic's Claude API to generate responses. We do not store your AI conversations permanently. Anthropic's privacy policy governs their handling of this data.
If you enable push notifications, we store your device subscription token to send you alerts. You can disable notifications at any time from your profile settings.
We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. You may delete your account at any time. Upon deletion, your personal data is removed within 30 days. Some data may be retained longer if required by law.
You have the right to: (a) access the personal data we hold about you; (b) correct inaccurate data; (c) delete your account and data; (d) opt out of non-essential communications; (e) export your data. To exercise these rights, contact us at privacy@veltrix.ai
We use essential cookies for authentication and session management. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies. You can control cookie settings in your browser.
Veltrix.AI is not intended for users under 18 years of age. We do not knowingly collect data from minors.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes via email. Your continued use of the Platform after changes constitutes acceptance.
